CENTRAL EXETER | Sapphire Spaces
Ask a Question:
This project is a recent favourite proving that great design and vision can be a reality, even in smaller spaces.
David Aspinall created this bathroom space for a project in Exeter; the clients brief was to turn a smaller sized, neutral bathroom into a space to spend time in and enjoy. "This bathroom project was a delight to work on, the transformation is incredible and I hope it is enjoyed for years to come"
Using colour effects to turn the space into a multitude of moods, David included a black Kartell by Laufen basin against a Corten steel tile.
The gold illuminated Kartell by Laufen mirror really does make the room come alive, and the cluster of Kartell lights in the corner reflects this feel with gold, copper and silver lights.
The brassware is from an Italian company, Fantini; David chose the brushed copper finish to accentuate the Laufen products.
The final piece was to install some lights in the ceiling and the final transformation was done.
Mrs Saunders commented "I was very keen to completely renovate and transform the bathroom but was not really sure exactly what I wanted. David was very easy to talk with and rather than the usual sales approach, he was keen to get to know me and my daughter, find out our likes and dislikes, explore ideas, make suggestions until eventually, together we agreed on the plans. At all stages of the project, I was kept fully informed, everyone who played their part in the new installation was totally professional and very friendly, the project was completed on time and as planned and looks absolutely amazing. Not only has the bathroom been totally transformed to a standard and style that far exceeded my expectations and is totally stunning but the warm and friendly approach of David and the rest of the team who worked on the project was exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend Sapphire Spaces."
