Most people aspire to make the a-list but when our MD, Mark Newbery, was named on the recently published d-list we couldn’t have been happier.
So what exactly is the d-list?
The d-list is selection of 20 UK designers complied by Designer Kitchen & Bathroom magazine and has been created to highlight some of the brightest and best kitchen and bathroom design talent.
The inaugural d-list was launched in London at this year’s 100% Design, the UK’s largest design trade event.
Editor, Martin Allen-Smith says
“The purpose of the list is to bring together some of the industry design figures we feel...

We were delighted to be joined by Exeter Cookery School for an exciting pre-launch evening. The brainchild of Jim and Lucy Fisher, Exeter Cookery School is set to open it's doors later this year in a Grade II Listed building on the city’s historic Quayside.
Heading up the cooking, Jim was first inspired to cook in his early teens by watching 70s food icon Margueritte Patten, so much so that he created a three-course meal for his family at the age of just 13.

TURN YOUR KITCHEN INTO A GALLERY
Beautiful fine wood and aluminium fuse together to create this stand-alone unit. With a butcher's block top and multi-purpose pull-out drawers, this is an iconic piece of kitchen design which can be moved wherever you need it. Brand new from bulthaup's Solitaires range, this stole the show at Milan Design Week 2014. One of five elements inspired by simple geometric principles and featuring bulthaup's ingenuity, the result a piece that's not restricted by faces or angles. See it Sapphire Living Space in Topsham near Exeter.
