Last week Mark and Alex headed up to London to be hosted by Gaggenau; not only was the dinner unique and exquisite in its offering, but so was the location!

Hans J. Wegner, undoubtedly one of the most original and influential furniture designers Denmark has ever produced, is having a renascence thanks to iconic furniture manufacturer Carl Hansen & sons.
The classic 1950 lounge chair was Hans J. Wenger’s first in a series of designs that reflected his gift of distilling a construction down to its very essence whist delivering character and style. Most people aspire to make the a-list but when our MD, Mark Newbery, was named on the recently published d-list we couldn’t have been happier.
So what exactly is the d-list?
The d-list is selection of 20 UK designers complied by Designer Kitchen & Bathroom magazine and has been created to highlight some of the brightest and best kitchen and bathroom design talent.
The inaugural d-list was launched in London at this year’s 100% Design, the UK’s largest design trade event.

We were thrilled when Food Magazine approached us to host their Festival of Food and Design. With our kitchen and design expertise and Food Magazine’s little (make that huge) black book of local foodie talent the event was bound to be a good one!

We were delighted to be joined by Exeter Cookery School for an exciting pre-launch evening. The brainchild of Jim and Lucy Fisher, Exeter Cookery School is set to open it's doors later this year in a Grade II Listed building on the city’s historic Quayside.
Heading up the cooking, Jim was first inspired to cook in his early teens by watching 70s food icon Margueritte Patten, so much so that he created a three-course meal for his family at the age of just 13.
