We hosted an intimate launch for Exeter Gin

It is always a true pleasure to host an event in our Kitchen Showroom space; so when Exeter Gin wanted to hold their intimate Crowdfunding launch for their brand, we, of course, wanted to be involved.

Working with the lovely Karen, husband Mick and her daughter Lyndsey the date was set, the food was organised and the drinks? Well, of course, Exeter Gin & Tonics for the welcome drinks and then Gin Cocktails as the evening went on.

The guests arrived in glorious sunshine, were welcomed with Tapas and Apperitifs and introduced to Karen's world of Exeter Gin. Their aim on the evening was to excite and inform us about the brand and let us know how to be involved, getting Exeter Gin 'on the map'.

The Sapphire team had great fun working with Karen and her team; enjoyed a few cheeky cocktails and were so glad that the weather was so utterly glorious. We wish Exeter Gin huge success in their venture and look forward to seeing them more and more.

Be a part of Exeter Gin’s exciting future!

In August 2017 the Exeter Gin brand launched; the idea was born due to requests from the people of Exeter asking for their own gin at the founder’s pop up Gin bar in Exeter. Within six months of launch the gin was snapped up by the premium supermarket, Waitrose, and later, by the giant St Austell Brewery. Despite being advised to expect sales of 500 bottles in the first year, the team produced and sold 4,000 full-size bottles and 4,500 miniatures within the first ten months!

Due to this unexpected and expediential growth, Exeter Gin is now approaching the people who sparked the idea in the first place; the people of Exeter - to offer them an opportunity to be a part of Exeter Gin’s undeniably exciting future.

With a focus to give the people of Exeter the first chance to be part of its success story through a crowdfunding platform, Exeter Gin personally invited a collection of investors and stakeholders for a pre-crowdfunding launch party at the luxury kitchen, and furniture showroom, Sapphire Spaces in Topsham on Wednesday last week.  With G&T’s flowing in the hot weather, the two brands (Exeter Gin & Granny Garbutt’s) showcased the five gins that are included in the Exeter Gin Ltd proposal. Tonics were provided by local favourite Luscombes, which included their freshly launched range.

 Lyndsey (Founder & Marketing Director) which showcased a family business formed and grown through hard work, professionalism, acumen and experience. Massive thanks were given to Sapphire Spaces for their kind hosting and most importantly keeping the G&T’s chilled.
